Liquid Gold: Head-to-Toe Natural Care with Biodamla Argan Oil
For centuries, a miracle has come from the vast lands of Morocco, known in the cosmetic world as "liquid gold": Argan Oil. As Biodamla, we have brought the highest quality argan fruits to our bottles to offer your skin and hair the pure, clean, and luxurious care they deserve.
So, what makes Biodamla Argan Oil so special? Discover all the secrets of liquid gold in this article, from its production process and rich components to its areas of use and precautions.
1. From Branch to Bottle: How is Biodamla Argan Oil Produced?
The most important factor determining the quality of argan oil is its production method. Oils that have been heat-treated or separated with chemical solvents (such as hexane) lose all their vitamin values.
As Biodamla, we preserve this valuable oil in its pure form through the following steps:
1.Harvest and Selection:Protected Areas of Morocco.
Only ripe fruits from UNESCO-protected Moroccan argan trees (Argania spinosa) are carefully hand-picked and sun-dried.
2.From Ugly Husk to Pure Kernel:Hand-Crafted.
The outer husks of the dried fruits are removed. The hard, nutty structure inside is cracked to reveal the fresh, oil-rich argan kernels (seeds).
3.Cold Press:Mechanical Extraction Without Heat Treatment.
For cosmetic use, these kernels are never roasted. The oil is filtered using mechanical presses, without the temperature exceeding 27°C (cold press). This method fully preserves the vitamins and antioxidants within the oil.
4.Filtering and Bottling:Pure and Unadulterated.
The resulting golden-yellow oil is filtered without the addition of any preservatives, perfumes, or synthetic additives, and then filled into our dark-colored bottles, protected from light.
2. Rich Vitamin and Component Values
Biodamla Argan Oil has a powerful biochemical profile that nourishes your skin at a cellular level. The main components that stand out in its natural structure are:
-
Vitamin E (Tocopherol): Contains approximately twice as much Vitamin E as olive oil. It is a very powerful antioxidant that supports cell regeneration and fights free radicals.
-
Oleic Acid (Omega-9): Found in approximately 43-48% concentration. It allows the oil to penetrate deeply into the lower layers of the skin, providing intense moisturizing power.
-
Linoleic Acid (Omega-6): Found in approximately 30-35% concentration. It strengthens the skin's protective barrier, increases its elasticity, and regulates sebum (oil) balance.
-
Squalene: This component, also found in the skin's natural sebum, forms an anti-aging protective shield.
-
Sterols: These are rare plant components that help soothe inflammation (redness and irritation) in the skin.
3. Areas of Use: Head-to-Toe Beauty
With a comedogenic (pore-clogging) index of "0" (negligible), argan oil is an excellent all-rounder product for every skin and hair type:
Hair Care
-
Split Ends and Heat Protection: When a few drops are applied to hair ends damaged by blow-drying, straightening, or dyeing, it repairs hair strands and protects against heat.
-
Vibrancy and Easy Combing: Applied to damp hair after showering, it prevents frizz, provides silky softness, and a natural shine.
Skin Care
-
Night Care Serum: When massaged into cleansed face and neck, it helps you wake up with fresher, plumper, and deeply moisturized skin.
-
Anti-Aging Support: Regular use on the eye contour and areas with fine lines reduces loss of elasticity.
Body and Nail Care
-
Stretch Mark Prevention: When massaged into the abdomen, hips, and chest during pregnancy or sudden weight changes, it improves skin elasticity, preventing the formation of stretch marks.
-
Strong Nails: Applied to easily broken nails and hardened cuticles, it strengthens the nail structure.
4. Precautions for Use
No matter how natural and beneficial argan oil is, attention should be paid to the following points to maximize its benefits:
- Correct Timing: Argan oil (especially for the face) should be used in the night routine. Applying it during the day and directly exposing it to sunlight may increase the risk of skin discoloration.
-
Allergy Test: If you are using it for the first time, apply a drop to the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours to check your skin's reaction (redness, itching, etc.).
-
Quantity Control: The perception that "more product gives better results" is incorrect. Pure argan oil is very concentrated; 2-3 drops for the face and 3-4 drops for hair ends are completely sufficient. More may weigh down the skin or hair.
-
Storage Conditions: To prevent the degradation of natural antioxidants, keep your product away from direct sunlight and excessively humid/hot environments like bathrooms. Store it at room temperature in its dark glass bottle.
To bring nature's purest form to your skin and create a strong barrier against time and external factors, Biodamla Argan Oil is always with you.
